Racing wheelchairs

Customised to athletes, racing wheelchairs are required to make the highest level of performance possible and to withstand the relevant pressure. This means they are adapted to body proportion, individual seating position and body weight. The increased demands made of wheelchairs have resulted in them running on three wheels nowadays, which makes them lighter, more aerodynamic and easier to steer.
