Body composition
Body fat measurement using callipers
Callipers can be used to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat and the body fat percentage on different parts of the body using comparative tables. This examination is a cost-effective method for obtaining a rough estimate of the body fat on the parts of the body measured. However, this method cannot be used to measure the total body fat.

Bioelectrical impedance analysis
This method uses alternating electrical currents to provide more detailed information about body composition. The various resistance measurements make it possible to assess the percentages of body fat, muscle mass, body water, etc. throughout the body. This short, painless investigation is ideal for assessing the current situation and for follow-up checks.
