  • Topics: basic nutrition, nutrition before, during and after physical activity, competition nutrition, supplements, weight management, stomach complaints, tiredness, cramps, vegetarian or vegan nutrition in sport.
    Depending on supplementary insurance, the costs or a portion thereof will be borne by the health insurance provider.

  • New, potentially performance-enhancing supplements are being increasingly launched onto the market. As a lay person it Athletes with a Swiss Olympic Gold, Silver or Bronze Card can cite these costs as part of their Sporthilfe funding budget.

  • Those who live further away or abroad can request online or telephone consultations. The costs for this will be calculated in the same way as in-person consultations.

  • Basal metabolic rate

    To determine daily energy use at rest
    The measurement takes about 30 minutes and consists of measuring oxygen intake while lying down. This is conducted at the sports medicine facility in the morning on an empty stomach.

    Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA)
    For a detailed assessment of current situation or to monitor progress of body composition (fat mass, muscle mass, water)
    The measurement is brief and is conducted at the sports medicine facility in the morning on an empty stomach.

    Nutritional laboratory
    Haematogram, ferritin (iron), vitamin D, folic acid, zinc, vitamin B12, incl. holotranscobalamin, selenium and CRP. We can help you understand which parameters make sense for you. The blood sample is taken in the sports medicine facility.

  • The hydrogen concentration is measured in the air you exhale, first on an empty stomach and then after consuming lactose or fructose. If the hydrogen concentration increases, this is considered malabsorption.
