Our commitment to people with a spinal cord injuryThe Swiss Paraplegic Group (SPG) is a globally unique network of services for the comprehensive rehabilitation of people with a spinal cord injury. The SPG advocates support for people with a spinal cord injury throughout their lives and provides four areas of services to this end:
- Solidarity— Swiss Paraplegic Foundation, Benefactor's Association, Hotel Sempachersee
- Medicine— Swiss Paraplegic Centre, ParaHelp
- Education, Research, Innovation — Swiss Paraplegic Research, Sirmed, Innovation Centre for Assistive Technologies IAT
- Integration and Lifelong Assistance — Swiss Paraplegics Association, Orthotec, Active Communication
About 1800 professionals and experts are active in the various fields and specialist disciplines in order to fulfil the core mandate.

ParaForum Visitor Centre
Visit our interactive multimedia exhibition, sit in a wheelchair, and experience a different perspective. During your visit, you will get to know four interesting personalities. In the fictitious shared apartment, they speak of their accident or disease, of rehabilitation, of friendship and love. Our ParaForum Visitor Centre is free of charge and makes an ideal day's outing for young and old.
